Terms of Service

By using Maestro ("the Service"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the Service without prior written permission.
  • Abuse the free tier by creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

2. Subscription and billing

  • Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual cycle via Stripe.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion for unused billing periods. Contact us within 14 days of charge for refund requests.

3. AI-generated content

Lessons, drills, feedback, and other educational content are generated by AI language models (OpenAI and Anthropic). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate suggestions. The Service is a learning aid and should not be relied upon as the sole source of language instruction.

4. Liability disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

5. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove all your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the EU member state where the operator is established.
